what options are available?

Dispute resolution processes recommended to parties by McAdam Family Law to assist resolution  include:

  2. Family Dispute Resolution (for parenting cases);

  3. Mediation; and/or

  4. Arbitration.


we have reached an agreement. what next?

Once an agreement has been reached, it is our role at McAdam Family Law to provide advices on how best to document the agreement so as to ensure that the terms of the agreement reached are comprehensively reflected and also to ensure the our client's rights are promoted and protected.

There are a number of ways in which an agreement between parties can be documented. Depending on the particulars of your matter will depending which document is used. However, the options available include:

  1. Parenting Plans;

  2. An Application for Consent Orders;

  3. Financial Agreements (limited and binding);

  4. Child Support Agreements.
